We build the company intelligence tool we couldn't buy.
Search a UK company and get a plain-English filing brief covering its accounts, people, ownership and filing history. The source record stays one click away.
Companies House gives you the records, but reading accounts across years, notes and people records takes time. The useful detail is spread across filings, registers and company history.
Verif-AI organises that material into a plain-English filing brief, with the figures, dates and source records kept close at hand. The source stays visible.
"Cash reported · Accounts filed · Directors listed · Ownership recorded." Each observation starts with a public record.
The supporting figures, filing links and saved workflow tools make it easier to return to the evidence when you need it.
Built by one founder. Reports use the latest available Companies House records. If no usable financial data is available, the report charge is returned automatically.
How a filing brief is built.
Three stages: structured extraction, plain-English explanation and arithmetic checks. The underlying records remain visible.
Pull the filings
We pull the latest available filed accounts directly from Companies House. Where the filing is iXBRL we parse the tags; where only a PDF is available, a structured extraction pass reads the statement pages and checks them against the document. We use up to seven years where the records provide it. No third-party aggregators.
Answer the questions
Claude turns extracted numbers and filing text into the five sections in the brief. Source context is retained for supported figures and observations. The brief explains public records; it is not a credit score or a recommendation.
Run the sanity checks
An automatic validator checks balance-sheet balancing, P&L flow, equity equivalence and working-capital reconciliation. A regression suite is maintained against hand-verified filings. Reports that fail critical checks are held or flagged before release.
What the pipeline covers.
Data comes from Companies House's official open-data API and public filing records. It reflects what has been filed and may not include events or information outside that record. Verif-AI is a private company; not affiliated with or endorsed by HMG.
One founder. Iterating in public.
Verif-AI is built and run by one founder at Kaisark Innovations Ltd. If something reads wrong — a number, an answer, a line of copy — email support@verif-ai.co.uk and it gets fixed.
